As I was delivering pizzas today, I spotted this little gem, sitting under a tree in a side driveway. Jotted down the address and am going to try and talk to the owner this week.

Also, Oppo, would my 6’2” 250 lb self even fit in one of these things? And what are some main areas of concern, other than rust.

I deliver too (second job) and see a bunch of cars like this that have been neglected by there owners.

Saw a Miata the other day... The owner had backed into it with his truck and just let it sit there collecting dust for what looked like many, many years.

Talked to a guy about his mg... He put a (I can’t remember the engine), and it was too much torque for the rear differential and it kind of exploded. This has been sitting there for a while as well. He offered to sell to me for a few hundred, but I haven’t the money or the time to even attempt to restore what looked to be a money pit anyway.

It saddens me seeing cars that have been pushed aside and cast out by their owners. ;(

My father in law has driven mine, he’s about 6’ 2”. He probably wouldn’t want to drive it everyday, but he’s driven it.

What else besides rust... more rust?
